SUNG CHIEH TEA – Taiwan Factory II

Factory Management & Equipment Established in August 2019, SUNG CHIEH TEA Factory II is also located in Mingjian Township, Nantou County. Situated right alongside the main thoroughfare of Mingsong Road, this prominent landmark offers enhanced visibility, making it much easier for clients to locate us. Spanning an area of 3,000 square meters, Factory II was established primarily to meet the surging market demand for commercial beverage tea.

To deliver even better service, this facility features a brand-new design and state-of-the-art equipment. The spacious, clean, and modern environment allows us to provide more comprehensive, higher-quality services to our clients.

Furthermore, Factory II houses a specialized Beverage R&D, Blending, and Training Center. This dedicated space offers clients an exceptional tea-tasting environment and high-specification service quality. By elevating our integrated beverage creation training and service standards, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to our customers.

The Second Plant is also equipped with an Electronic Roasting Room, which features a more spacious environment. Inside this room, there are Infrared Roasting Machines and Tea-Specific Roasting Pans. Compared to traditional parching pans used for tea fixation (chao-qing), these specialized pans can increase production capacity by approximately six to seven times. This not only significantly boosts output but also saves a substantial amount of time.

The Bulking Room is equipped with blending drums for tea bulking operations. In addition, a visual inspection conveyor platform will be installed for quality assurance (QA) personnel to check for any foreign objects in the tea leaves. A metal detector is also standard equipment in the Bulking Room, which effectively reduces the presence of foreign material in the tea and further elevates final product quality before shipment.

In the Packaging Room, a new Automatic Pyramid Tea Bag Packaging Machine has been added. In addition to pyramid bags, this equipment can also pack flat tea bags, catering to customers who require small-gram weights and tea bags. Furthermore, an Automated Bulk-Bag (pillow-pack) Packaging Machine has been installed, primarily targeting larger gram weights and industrial-sized tea bags for beverage shops. This machine not only ensures precise weighing but is also capable of automatic date coding (expiration dates) and automatic labeling, thereby reducing labor costs. The addition of these two packaging machines with different specifications is aimed at providing superior service to every customer.

The Sample Room in the Second Plant offers a more generous and accommodating space for sampling and trial blending.

Beyond providing more specialized and professional machinery and equipment, the facility also boasts a vast and spacious storage area. This allows us to respond to the increasing demand for tea from more clients, enabling us to roast and produce even greater quantities of high-quality tea for our customers.
